The Goal
Inspire Hispanics to pursue nursing careers while providing resources and promoting National Association of Hispanic Nurses’ (NAHN) Mentors Connection.
The Strategy
Develop culturally driven messages to inspire Hispanics to pursue nursing careers, featuring real-life Hispanic nurses and nursing students as role models. Promoted the NAHN’s online Hispanic Nursing Mentors Connection and provided information and resources for potential nursing students, including prerequisites for nursing school.
The results
The campaign produced 87 radio and video productions featuring testimonials of real-life Hispanic nursing student role models. It achieved 121,330,384 gross impressions via radio, 12,570+ website visits, and 3,379 Facebook engagements.
The deliverables
HCN Global created a Bilingual Multimedia Outreach Toolkit for local NAHN chapters, provided nurse spokesperson media training at NAHN’s annual conference, and delivered Carreras en Enfermía/Hispanic Careers in Nursing bilingual messages via HCN Global’s La Red Hispana national radio network, digital, and social media channels. The campaign’s messages were measured and evaluated using focus groups.
