National Association of Chronic Disease Directors: Managing Chronic Diseases
We launched a long-term campaign addressing chronic diseases through patient stories, using an omnichannel approach.
The Goal
Provide greater access to public education, awareness, and resources among BIPOC communities disproportionately affected by multiple chronic diseases.
The Strategy
We conducted a long-term effort to address chronic diseases (CDs) through storytelling and lived experiences, focusing on one disease per subcampaign. We utilized omni-channel amplification (TV, radio, digital & social) and a phased approach by disease, starting with diabetes, followed by cancer survivors, cardiovascular disease, asthma, and managing CDs during COVID.
The results
The campaign achieved over 8.6 million radio PSA impressions, a social media reach and engagements of over 101,000, 55,000 video impressions, and 4,600 video plays. Additionally, we conducted 15 interviews.
The deliverables
Our deliverables included messaging and materials production, radio PSAs, digital and social media content, video transcreations, AI simulator transcreations, dissemination via HCN’s La Red Hispana owned channels (radio network, social media, website), spokesperson media trainings and media tours, stakeholder e-newsletter outreach, and influencer endorsements.
